I Should Be Selling Joy

I Should Be Selling Joy,

Not Kitchen Hardware.

This self-initiated project consist in a series of screen prints made during a workshop organized by Levis in Berlin. The illustration is been crafted in illustrator and then translated in paper through chemical reaction, as many of you might know from previous experience with screen printing.
Each print is unique and carry a unique hand-made feel that characterize it making each imperfection more human and less anaesthetically digital.

In Detail
"I should be selling joy not kitchen hardware" is a quotation by Sven Fagerberg that I found in an article called "PSYCHEDELIC MANIFESTO", 1967.
I decided to dedicate a whole week to translate this phrase into an image since I believe it is incredibly meaningful.
It suggest to shift our means of happiness from an orgiastic surplus of doubtless useful object to a simpler, purer and no simply sensorially perceivable pleasure.
